Patch15 AHEdit.exe Crash
« on: January 12, 2017, 03:40:37 PM »
Terrain Editor crashes on startup.
Deleted the current terrain cfg file in case it was the terrain the editor was focused on.
Still crashed.

I can not duplicate this, it may be some other config issue. Just for a test rename settings and run again.

Renamed settings--->setting.bak
Ran ahedit.exe---> error and closed
Run ahedit.exe second time to maybe get mdbg file generated--->no luck.

On the Aces High front page in the download section. Is this a full install of AH3.0 Patch15?

Current Version :3.0 Patch 15
Last Updated :January 12, 2017
Size :1.43 GB

If this is a "Full" install, I will do a complete uninstall\reinstall to see If I'm having a problem from 15 patched updates on top of the first full AH3 go live install. After the alpha I've gotten used to being in testing mode.
Get back to you in a bit.
Thanks for your input.:O

I've got an MA terrain for Skuzzy to tell me I'm out of my mind and no soup for youss bustr...... :lol

Unistalled then reinstalled a Full Patch15 vanilla install.
Ran ahedit.exe----> program error.
Deleted contents of patch15 settings folder just in case and ran ahedit----> program error.

First of the week I did run the Microsoft rollup update for Win7 as the only change on my PC but, ahedit was working for Patch14 with that rollup installed. Ran the patch15 ahedit.exe 5 times, all debug shows exactly the same parameters as the one included below.

The debugger cannot load info for an NVIDIA driver that used to cause problems with some games. Is it possible this is an NVIDIA caused error?
