Very saddened to hear this.
I too was in the Rowdy1's squad when I started out. Bill was always a stand up guy in my book. Yes, he loved his dogs. Turns out our squad was named after one of them
And yes, he liked the Brewster. I remember the day HTC released the Brewster / I16 and Rowdy saying "Hey I could get used to this little bird!"
He was always willing to give advice or lend a hand. I arranged a squad get together in Chattanooga TN. Rowdy drove up from Auburndale FL to be there. That's the kind of guy he was. I have some great memories and some great friendships from those days.
A memorial flight is in order. But honestly I believe Rowdy would want us all to get together in the DA one night and do one of those Canyon Fights like we used to.
