Keeping up with the forums
« on: January 17, 2017, 02:06:29 PM »
Someone just apologized for his late answer, explaining that he rarely looks at that certain section.

As you've all noticed, each thread has a "New" tag until you've read it. If you're an active member on the BBS, trying to follow the threads you've commented might be somewhat tedious.

My solution to this is quite simple: In the upper right corner of each section there's a "Mark Read" button. Clicking it will remove the "New" tag off every single thread in that section. Now only the really new comments get tagged, making it much easier to see if something has happened since your last visit!

What is your method?

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

I use the "Show unread post since your last visit."  Sometimes though it will not work but it gives you another click to read all unread post.

I have lots of short down times while at work. In those few minutes here and there I hit the message boards. It is very easy to keep up.
