Map bug Invisible trees

Invisible trees  I had to make quite a large turn to get around what I am guessing was a bunch of trees.

Curious.  Was this not considered a bug?  It did not get the green check.

When I was creating my gunnery terrain I did that to myself once.

I changed tiles in an area after spawning onto it and didn't like what I was looking at. So I quickly painted over it and ran into invisible somethings when I spawned in to look at my change. Then in the terrain editor I got down very close and noticed that even though my brush was set to 100% saturation, I clicked so fast and was moving over the spot quickly and it acted like 75% saturation. When I put the brush on the spot and held down on the mouse button, the area finished doing a complete saturation of the terrain tile I had earlier painted it with. Next spawn test the invisible what ever was gone.

It could be that, who knows.....

If you were near the beach, it isn't trees.

It's not a tree, it you are touching water.

The poly you are sitting on is very flat and right at water level.
I'll need to write a terrain checker for this issue.

Thank you for the reply.  Glad you have a solution in mind.

I had guessed it was a solid object by the thud sound when I hit it.  In the past too if you were in water you were stuck and could not get out.  I was able to back up, turn and get around the problem area.
