I only mentioned the money thing as a reason I am not working on it immediately. I will pay for AH dues even when I am not playing, but I will not pay Autodesk for software I am not using. As long as I am in school I can practice and use their software without cost, but it also cannot be used for commercial purposes.

BTW, I understand Blender can do all of this, but it would probably take me a few months to get up to speed with it.

I don't know about anyone else...but if is a money thing that is holding back something like ground combat in limited role in the game...I'd be willing throw down a few bucks...for sure

Kickstarting it could be a great idea - it's an addition to a stable and popular game. You can show existing gameplay to show level of quality, and show a concept video of FPS gameplay.

And we can all finally see what HiTech looks like!

HiTech, PM me if you want a resource for how best to crowdfund games - I know people who do this.

The T-pose is used to help with weighting of the skin, because with the limbs in the extended position it is easier to select certain vertices without accidently selecting vertices that might otherwise be nearby. Once the model is in a more relaxed position, as it may in the idle position, or while talking, then a skin morph would be added. I don't think HTC would need something that detailed (especially given the low-poly requirement), but you never know.

Soldiers should be a short-term project that would not require a great deal of cash to fund.

Are they weighing their skin if they're making airplane noises?

I know it's hard for someone that makes airplane sounds with their lips to visualize the problem, so further discussion is impossible.

Relax, Francis. People are born without a sense of humor where you come from, I take. It doesn't have to be a good joke, just an obvious one.  I'm rather certain you were around to see my thread of a similar nature. :D
