Leaving the map
« on: January 29, 2017, 03:54:54 PM »
Why?

How about a 250mph wind away from the map at the borders?

If you happen to be caught out and fly off map a little, then you have a chance to get back in but the bombers who purposely fly off map NOE don't gain the advantage of flying off map.

Once upon a time there were arrows indicating that someone was flying outside of the map. I think these arrows sometimes still exist, but are displayed outside of the map, so that fully zoomed out they aren't visible, but only when zooming in (a little) and dragging the the map.

Make a gradual mountain range that peaks at 100K' and problem solved.   Crash.

Some people fly off the map so they can get up to a high altitude without fear of getting shot down because if you're off the map any bullets that hit you won't register, I tried to shoot some down that we're off the map none of my bullets did any damage and no he wasn't AFK because he was maneuvering. Just another way of gaming the game.

There was another thread about how to detour people from flying off of the map.
I like the idea of killing their engine, until they return onto the map.
