I sent in a video years ago, trying to get in. I had me crashing upside down on the runway and living. Landing on a hanger roof and sliding off onto the pad and living. Retuning home with most of the plane shot up..... mbailey still said it was not good enough. Their bar is just too high. Giant salute to this eclectic group.

There is a prerequisite of a minimum number of parts missing on landing for you to even apply I do believe. You must have missed the minimum. I landed once with only a right wheel, canopy frame, left rudder pedal, the start button for the blender, and flame retardant thong and it wasn't sufficient.

You might have made it except for one thing....

The Blenders I install in our 38s are top secret. We do not let anything happen to them. In some cases we come back on a blender and a prayer.

We removed the blenders on the 38s sent to the British. That is the real reason they canceled the rest of the order.

LOL....What I said was, if you were on fire doing all that...it may help getting in. What you describe above, is just a normal everyday landing for most of us     :D

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

When the game is over, the Kings and Pawns all go into the same box.

In my defense that particular flight occurred long ago before I took my hiatus. On that particular day Silat had stated that "routine" maintenance was required on the blender in the 38 I was going to take. I didn't think anything of it and after climbing to 15000 feet I noticed that there was a red high heel wedged between the armor plating around the blender. This allowed the 30mm round to penetrate the armor thus destroying the blender on leaving the start button behind. I always have wondered if that was the heel from silat's peg leg????

Buddy, I am at Fort Leavenworth and of all things writing doctrine for the army. I need to get back into the game, but it seems every job I get  commits me to more stuff. It is nice to be back home, I was overseas this time last year.

Back to Sapp. The first rule of Sapp is we don't talk about sapp. I have to say the GFC that shida, zack, and I set up, was a bit more inclusive. It's because we think that secret societies are the end of the world, the masonic occupation group, and tinfoil hats.
