I have to apologize to everyone, I should've called it the bridge at Remagen. base 7 and 14 were the battle area, with the bridge between being the choke point. at times both side tried to cross the bridge. The fights were intense. The ridgeline allowed for tanks to line up and fire at targets on the other side of the river. With equal numbers on both sides, and the tanks relatively evenly matched, no one seemed to have an advantage.

there was lots of smoke being put out, and it literally went straight across the bridge. you would then run across the bridge and the smoke was so thick, you would pass a bad guy, and only see him for a second. it was amazingly realistic. coming out of the smoke on the other side, of course they were waiting for you. to be involved in such an exciting battle was the best part. everyone seemed to have a great time. if you missed it, you missed one of the wildest tank fights I've ever had the pleasure of being part of.

I will try to fix a few issues of the issues that people reported to me with the terrain. some of it might be out of my realm. I will also try to add some more trees to the axis side so there's a little more ground cover when they spawn.

all in all, it was a very successful and exciting night. I want to thank each and every one that participated and helped make it at
fun night. hopefully we'll see you all next week.

my plan for next week is to use bases V5 and V12 with 2 bridges instead of one.
ill try to post some screen shots in here when I have some time.

thank you all!

Need to add such a spawn to MA maps, hard to camp, and keep it far enough away from Airfields.

My suggestions/comments:

It was a BLAST with all the participants!

If 6-8 players or less, one bridge.  If more, than 2 bridges.

Back up spawns 1-2K so that there is a reward for killing the other guy (i.e time to get on bridge and possibly get across).  Last week, you kill them, they are back shooting at you before you can even start your engine.  That is why really no one crossed until crowd thinned down.

The "mud" on the riverbank that acts like water I found inconsistent.  There were times I was very close to the water and was on solid ground.  Other times I was on a slope no where near the water (at least 150 ft away from water) and was stuck in it.

Good job on keeping the tank mix even.  Panzer vs Shermans is good.   Next step up would probably be T-34/85's vs Panthers.

The fog seemed to impact people differently.  I had times where the EME tank that was shooting at me was completely in white (cannot see anything but white) but the other can clearly see me and all his shots were aimed perfectly.
