It's all about convergence. And death by 1000 cuts lol

Landed 4 in a Spit I Sunday.  The .303's work fine for me :)

Some weirdo I know has more kills in the Mk.I than any other Spit.

Agreed.  I've set mine to 175.  The important thing is to wait until you're 200 or under.

I use the circle of the sight reticle. If the wings span the circle, you're in the butter zone.

I have convergence at 175 on the Mk I, the challenge is to get that close and being able to fire long enough to land fatal damage. And too often a LW monster zooms in to clear your 12 and blows your victim away just before you are about to finish him off.

Thats pretty much how I see the LA-7 3-cannon option, few percent  entered the war, and with same weight as the 2-gun version, and 99.99% fly the 3-gun version.

24 planes--appears you not only want your cake, but want to eat it too... Turny turny with fire power:)

The last line of "converted to MK Vs" is your answer....:)  It is there, just fly the Mk V.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

IDK the accuracy or if it was a thing, but i miss the spit 9 having the choice between 4 .303 and 2 20mm or 2 .50 and 2 20mm.
