White polygons in sea west of P14 and A2 PIZZA MAP
« on: March 13, 2017, 10:17:52 PM »
While on a bombing run to bish strats I saw strange white regular polygons in the sea. They had clean even edges and were pure white. I could see them from all angles and zoom.

I flew over one in a bomber.  It had the same pattern as beach sand.  I think it's land.  I have film and screen shots.

I saw one like that and another that looked like a perfect stop sign.

Did you go down and check to see if there was a castaway? 1000 perk points to the first pilot to land there!  :salute

Wonder if this was from the conversion process to AH3 where the converter found a fat fingered "speck" of terrain at 1-5ft the AH2 author left behind when he was manually cutting, deleting and shaping his world.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Nope. I figure it had to be from smoothing the cliffs walls from a nearly horizontal point of view. The TE doesn't like that and blows hole in the terrain the builder needs to look for. I didn't think to check the water, my bad.
Easy in-game again.
