TM Warthog repair and lucky find.
« on: March 14, 2017, 11:15:58 AM »
So my 15 month old Warthog had a bad "China" hat switch. After numerous emails with TM they sent me the replacement part at a price of $42.50 US. Easy enough to change although I don't know where I would get a zip tie that small...

For all of you Warthog users, I found the base plug assy. loose. The piece that attaches the stick to the base. The screw that holds it in the stick case was not tight at all. Now it's like having a new stick! I thought the slop was normal  :x
If you have movement at the base of your joystick, this could be the cause.

Should have ordered two of those switches....they are flimsy.  I'm on my 3rd now in 2 years.....great stick, crappy buttons.
