Puffy Ack Friendly Fire Damage

Would be nice for events if the sky is being filled with puffy that friendlies (to the puffy) also suffer damage.

Yes, puffy can already change friendlies. It's just happening less frequent than it used to be since it was made that puffy stops shooting at a red when a green gets to D1000 or closer.  :old:

Does this include the puffy at the super large airfields??? If so there's for sure a bug there.

88s shouldn't be able to fire with friendly cons in the area either.

if your on your own field and 2 or 3 bad guys on your 6 wouldn't you want auto ack shooting at them?

I don't purposely run to ack which isn't very standard for the entire community so yes I would want auto guns shooting...the burst fire weapons though is a completely different story and my answer would be no.

If you hit a friendly with the 88, killershooter kicks in except the gunner doesn't seem to take damage either. You'll get the "you have shot yourself" message when this happens.

EDIT: pretty sure same applies to 5" too

Just make it if you hit a friendly you kill your own gun. Friendly de ack

The only time I've ever been killed by puffy ack it was my own.  (Attempting to defend our CV from an attacker.)

My suggestion would be make them not have any effect on a plane within a certain distance of a friendly.....shooting blanks if a friendly is too close to the target you are shooting at.
