The 49th Fighter Group is putting together a Memorial for ET37, the date will be Sunday April 2nd at 7:00 PM. The services will be outside the main arena so we do not get any Bozo who didn't get the memo messing up the services. I will Post a new thread with all the particulars about the service. If any one has AH film clips of ET37 running some missions I would really like a copy of them sent to us as we will put together a video and his voice on it would really be a nice touch, we will post the video on YouTube so everyone can get it.

Send the video clips to  the49fg@gmail.com  Those sending clips will get credit for them on the video we produce

I will humbly participate in whatever is planned.  I do feel Earl deserves our best, with as much participation as possible.

I disagree with not running it in the main.  He was here for the fight and the fun, win lose or draw.  A mission like he used to run in the MA would certainly be my preference.

I hesitated to post this because I did not want to be contentious out of respect for Earl, but that same respect is what motivates me to give my opinion.

Earl was my friend :)

Been out of the game for a while, but I am very sad to hear of his passing. He was a fine player and a joy to fly with.  :salute

There will be an effort to fly an ET like formation bomber mission on Rooks in the Main Arena immediately following the memorial service in the Special Events Arena.  It is easier to get people together for a memorial service and then get those people to go to the main for a memorial flight than it is to get everyone together for a memorial flight alone.  This is the reason a memorial flight has not been advertised.  I hope the attendance will be great.
