I need to clean out some old stuff and want to get rid of this stuff. The motherboard is NO LONGER under warranty from EVGA!

I changed out this motherboard and RAM to my current setup over a year ago. It worked great then but it has been sitting on the shelf since early 2016. It was never overclocked but I am told that the 2600k chips could run like the wind if you so desired.

To recap:
1 x i7-2600k w/ stock cooling fan
1x eVGA P67 SLI motherboard
2x 4GB RAM attached to motherboard

Price is $40 + shipping.

Agreed. I have a similar Asus board and can confirm the overclock on that chip. I have mine to 4.6 on air.

That's a heck of a deal.
Like Drano, I have the ASUS board and threw a GTX 1070 into it. Even with the 2.2 PCIe board, this thing cranks 59-60 fps with all the graphics cranked to max including 4096 textures at 1980x1080.

I didn't see any takers so I sent you a pm.  I am the less fortunate you had in mind, lol.  However I am a tenacious less fortunate too.  I stalked eBay and landed like new CH pro pedals for $50 and found a working x52 set up for $15 plus $10 in gas.

But my OC is a Core 2 Duo Quad 2.4 with a GeForce 9600gt and 6gb ram.  No match for furballs, that's for sure and I don't know how it is affecting my game play because I've never had better.  I was behind the curve for aw still behind it on Aces High.  I bought this beast in 2008 but I couldn't even think of playing then and now I'm trying to play once I have let this PC pass it's prime.

I see gamers fussing over the graphics, but I love the game play, and I'm glad a system capable of running it isn't any further out of reach.

You might be able to find a cpu/mobo/ram combo for cheap, a lot of times people clean out their inventory and let stuff go. Hopefully you can find something so you can get back into this game...

You can either post a "Wanted" thread or just monitor the selling threads and see what people are getting rid of...
