Turning off camera same as trackir
« on: April 10, 2017, 07:42:41 AM »
This is probably an oculus problem.  Using trackir. the sensor can be turned off then you can use standard methods for setting HPS.  Oculus needs  this same type of turn off.  I assume this problem is why the tank cannon sights sweeps when you turn your head which is a very nauseating.

What you call the standard method is the old method for TrackIR.

Try the new method.

Move your actual head until you see what you want. Press F10.

You can also take the Oculus headset off your head and, without turning it off, set head position the old way.

Controll F5 on my keyboard is Tracker camera off. That works like pause did with TIR, almost. Your head will still move but head position can be changed with pgup, pgdn and arrow keys.

Google search found a need to go to a mode that disabled head movement.   A couple of post said it could be done but from the read it was not easy.

Hopefully, a future update will have a way to disable head movement.
