It's amazing how far technology has come in the last 5 yrs. When I first found CK/WB back in 95 I had a 14.4 modem, and was told that all I needed to play was a 9600 baud modem. Well for 2 hours last night I flew in the main arena while downloading a 300MB file. I didn't see 1 warp at all. The only thing I noticed was that my fps was down about 10%. I bet this was because I had about 3 other programs running including the ftp.
Just wait until we have gig/sec bandwidth over the net
then you'll be able to see if your wingman is picking his nose at d100
and even tell if he's diggin in the left or right nostrile!!
