Naval Action
« on: April 20, 2017, 08:48:28 PM »
Well, since we've got a good player base here involved with World of Warships, I thought I would see if anyone else is involved with Naval Action?

It's an MMO on steam, (Single purchase, NOT subscription based) based on 1700s-1800s sail ships. I've become obsessed with it in the last month I've had it! If anyone is interested in the age of sail, give it a look. It's got some pretty negative reviews on steam less for gameplay than for dev interaction (And I WILL say, the devs are outright terrible. They could really learn a lesson from the gang here at HTC!) but the game itself is actually the best age of sail game I've found, and I HAVE tried them all.

Constitution sneaking along the Cuban coast in a storm to raid Spanish shipping

Broadsides with a Spanish Snow

Mid Broadside (Smoke can really be a factor when you can't actually see through it to what may be coming at you)

Some early results

And so she falls...

Decks awash!

That wasn't much of a fight, Snow versus a 4th Rate, but it made it easier to take screenshots not much caring what he was doing to me lol.
