That's unimportant. You always get a bit of that no matter what you do. Just ignore it. Disliking, feedback and preferences are three separate things. In my working domain exhibiting examples of your work automatically assumes and invites critical / constructive feedback. Apologies if that causes offense.

I believe the answer is that an unconventional approach certainly has inherent merit but ONLY IF it also addresses the underlying principals which the conventional method addresses. The latter is a reductive process the product of uncountable man-hours of validation. The former a creative, inventive one. In some domains people find creativity abhorrent. I also favour an unconventional approach - many thousands of unecessary deaths however taught me that.
You could make some alternative choices or apply slightly more sophisticated base-ACM 'patterns' and stay much longer in your fights. If that interests you. Regardless I do find your videos entertaining. Do keep making those
