That was some good flying, Dubious. You were buzzing around like that one pesky mosquito that you can't swat but it just won't go away. You stayed close but just out of range making us split our attention between you and other cons. Wasn't thrilled donating a B-17 to your scorepad, but great tactical flying sir! <S>
Thanks sir, was a blast... I've learned that patience is the key to bomber formations grouping together. You guys were awesome in trying to rotate the "injured" group into the middle to provide better cover and not let any 1 group fall out to become a lucrative target. <S> to that alone.
1 thing you guys could try is using the waist gunners only when "ranging shots", as I've found that to be helpful in letting the con know you're looking at him, whilst not wasting precious top or ball turret ammo. You'd be surprised how accurate you can be at 1.5k out the sides with only 1 tracer going out... Small thing, but I found it helps.
Also I'd just like to salute your group for actually jumping in bombers. I know how thankless the job it is. Fighter jocks will WHINE all day about that 1 time a bomber bailed in front of or near them... yet you try and limp an injured single bomber out of your formation that's beat all to hell, home, and the fighter jocks will cream themselves over vultching your carcus either A) JUST landing, or B) as your poor bomber hull screeches to a hault trying to ditch.
After experiencing this type of behavior, I TOTALLY understand some bomb'n'bail behavior. BUT you guys didn't, so
and hope to see you guys soon!
