not sure if this fits here, but I do think newbs need a designator to identify them as new.  it should only be seen be friendly country.  that would be a good way for them to get advise, help, maybe a better guy wing up with him.  it would be optional to turn off if say they were a returning player or maybe some one that was a not a "true noob".  I was on the rooks when I first started and was there for about 5 months, great guys then moved to knights.  after half way figuring out what was going on I realized much like slip knot is doing there ought to be a starter group or guys that can help in game.  I have noticed being on the knights when there is a new guy, and we figure it out there are about 5 guys that jump in to help them. I just feel if there was a designator to a new guy it may help get them sorted out quicker.  I think most new guys are from others games and are a little more with drawn from asking for help, as I have learned in the other games I have tried new guys are not really accepted like in this game.
