Ability to change fusing delay on bombs
« on: July 07, 2017, 02:12:22 PM »
As the wish title says, the ability to adjust the fusing delay on bombs.  This would allow the ability to be able to skip bomb sea and land targets as well as use masthead bombing techniques.

I haven't played since the AHIII Beta, but wouldn't that require physics changes so you physically CAN skip bombs?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

You're right, there probably would require additional changes to allow the actual skipping of bombs, however, you'd still be able to masthead bomb ships since that doesn't require skipping the bombs.

In another game this feature was extensively used as a defensive tactic and as a challenge against chasing fighters. Got many kills this way myself. New and inexperienced would be more vulnerable to this. Made a lot of people very angry.

Would this bombing technique work below radar icon altitude?

Doesn't masthead bombing require it to land on the ship?  By what I've seen in the game, I don't think the bombs treat the ship as an object they just land on the water.
