When this vehicle was updated some time back I had noticed that a few rounds from a M3's 50 cal could kill you at surprising distances. Then its sudden ability to kill T-34/76's very easily where before the updated M8 this was almost an impossibility. Yet if you hit the M8 with a 76mm HE round for example at 210 yards they just drive away.
Why the disparity of an easy 50 cal kill on an M8 yet a 76mm HE round will do nothing.
The armour per the link I am reading says
"Armor protection ranged from 0.1 inches to 0.7 inches across the vehicle's various facings."Surely if the armour is this thin a 76MM HE round anyplace on an M8 should do something?
