AvA Pearl Harbor test film
« on: August 07, 2017, 11:28:02 AM »
Trees caused the biggest frame hit for me so I turned them way down (it's not like you can't see them at all on low settings). I set most everything else at mid range. Of course, the P-40 I was flying didn't stir up a ruckus. Switched over to IJN. My Zero made its first pass on BB row with just an aux fuel hit. Second pass took off a wing. My D3 dropped (and missed) .... and lost a wing. My B5 was almost in the channel to drop a torp and my pilot just plain died outright.

Map looks pretty good, though. Kinda wish the shoreline was more natural looking (and the sand was less white - no matter how white the sand was). ;)

Frame-rates stayed round about the 30s-40s once I tones down the trees.

Appreciated and I understand on the shorelines and sand. Not much I can do on the shorelines. I could cover most of Ford island with just grass and leave a center strip as sand to simulate the airfield. Will probably make it harder to find the statically placed F4Fs and A20Gs. Then again they don't move and near the hangars so that might not be really an issue.
