I'm rooting for a 1000 free accounts in the first 24 hours.

HiTech

Well you must be seeing some pretty good numbers so far.  I'm really optimistic about this, hope we can put some stress on the HTC servers :)

Steam will help give this game the continued support and development it deserves, no matter how long you stay away, or take a break theirs no game quite like it to compare and i dont think there ever will be a game quite like it. <S> ACES HIGH

I love a positive attitude when I see one.

Hope it draws a few new bomber "nerds". 91st could use 'em.

Best of luck, HiTech. Eager to see the result.

I hope it goes well for HTC and Aces High 111. It must be good to develop something from the ground up and see it exposed to the masses. How awesome that millions of people can enjoy the fruits of your hard work.

Forget the revenue. That’s just a by-product.

It’s good to “fly around” and “drive a tank” every once in a while. I catch with friends and “enemy” friends that “fly around” and “drive a tank” and we “kill each other”. It’s a hoot.

This is the only computer game I play, excepting Chess and I’ve played it for a long time (longer than some, not as long as others). If you don’t like the current format, gameplay or results find another pursuit or offer constructive input. I spent a great deal of time (too much really) trying to impose my ego onto a computer. It’s wasted. Have fun instead.

I’ve had as much fun with 15 people on as I’ve had with 150 on as I’ve had with 2 arenas, both almost full. The times when I haven’t had fun is directly correlated to my attitude at the time.

Anyway full Steam  ahead (has that been used in this context yet?) <S>.

Its going to be a lot more than 200 :old:

I hope we get some Europeans  :old:
Honestly I think we will see a lot more Russians and Asian players with it being on steam then anything else....AKAK would know better but the big steam games seem to have a huge crowd from those areas.

So far the number of new accounts from steam has been exceeding my expectation.

HiTech
Do you see the region they are mostly coming from? Really would help overall if the Euros had more company. I used to love getting on at like 9 AM EST and seeing 150 in the arena.

We could use some of these in the ma:

I find it amazing that since I began playing this game sometime around tour 74 the price has been the same. What other thing can you do that the price has never increased for close to 15 years?

:headscratch:  Man, $15..  It's been this way for a long..  :old:... time. Part of what drew me to it back in '04 (that, and it was playable on my dial-up). Too much? How does one figure?

TJ Glendinning has flipped out, his review on steam bordered on being  scandalous.

Look at Dolby's negative review, he's still butt hurt that HiTech didn't use his films.
