I personally see nothing wrong with the way M3s are used to resupply. It stimulates more strategy in taking bases. It gives the little guy a chance against overwhelming numbers of enemy. It hasn't really affected overall base taking, because bases are still being taken and maps are being won. Let's look at a scenario if a town could not be resupplied. The defending country's city strat and AAA strat has been beat up badly. It could be one bomber flying over the town and it is white flagged and another player deacks the town auto ack. Depending on the strat damage, the ack and town buildings could stay down for 2+ hours. It can get a bit old trying to protect the town that long from capture and ties up manpower from going out and attacking the enemy. It forces some to sit in town in GVs, watching the map room for extended periods of time. Resupply of towns, strats and bases keep the game in motion and constantly changing. Let's say we removed the strats damage controlling downtimes of their corresponding objects in towns or on bases. Then maybe resupply could be taken away. But removing the effects of strats in the game, removes some strategy and makes gameplay more predictable and a bit boring in my opinion. I am obviously a proponent of the ability to resupply with m3s.
