It always helps to read the Arena Message if taking part in a special event as usually there is a limited planeset and they are only available at certain fields. On a big map there is normally only a small section being used so it wouldn't make sense to up a plane from a field several sectors away from the action. Read the Arena Message, decide which of the listed available aircraft you would like to fly and note which field it is available from (and which country for that matter
). Change country if necessary, then type .move xxx where xxx is the desired field number. When you go to the hangar, right click the clipboard and choose 'Enabled only' - all the red (disabled) planes will disappear and you will be left with enabled planes still showing. Easy.
