Don't forget to come to this month's "This Day in World War Two" Event at two times tomorrow - 3:00 pm Eastern (8:00 pm UK/9:00 pm CET) and 10:00 pm Eastern.  Everyone is welcome, just come to Special Events 2 arena, choose a side (Bishops [Allies] or Knights [Axis]).  Read the Arena Message for details of active fields - use ".move xxx" where xxx is the field number to move to your chosen field before selecting your aircraft in the hangar - you can right-click the aircraft selection list to show 'enabled aircraft only' to make it easier to see the choices.

Look forward to seeing you there, and bring friends!  :D

Hi Flossy - glad to see you're still around and involved.  I just returned after a hiatus and probably will check out the event.

Is bigweek still a thing and around?

Apologies for the problems with the first running of this event.  I had everything set up after spending some time working on it earlier today, but when I logged back in shortly before it was due to start I found that the arena had reset and a lot of the settings had been lost/changed.  Fortunately all aircraft (apart from the P40 which had disappeared!) and field details had held but TGs had returned to their original places, and had to be jumped again.  I did try to check all the settings but it seems some still weren't right - like no flashing bases.

I hope those of you who stayed for some of the first hour still managed to have some fun despite the problems.  Unfortunately, with only two of us in the arena shortly before the end of the first hour (one of whom was afk LOL) I had to end the event prematurely and apologise to anyone who may have turned up during the second hour.

Hopefully things will go better for the second running with Brooke - please do join him for the 10pm running as I'm sure the numbers will be far better then anyway.  I would but as it starts at 2am my time I'll be getting my much-needed beauty-sleep.  :D

FWIW, the results were - Allies 4 kills for 4 points, Axis 1 kill for 1 point, so Allies win.

Logs are here    :salute

Hi Shane!  It was great to see you at the event earlier, and so sorry it had to be cut short.  Maybe Brooke's running later (10pm Eastern) will be more successful..... at least he is more experienced and better able to sort out any problems.  :)  Think I'm getting too old for this LOL.  Yep bigweek is still going - send me a PM if you need more info.  I don't get on there much myself but check in occasionally.  Hope to catch you in the MA sometime!   :salute
