Hotas setup question rudder not functioning

Looking for a little help, im coming back to the game after couple year hiatus and i got a hotas x setup to try. I did a lot of the mapping and when i tried to map the rudder to the slider on the throttle it doesnt seem to function. it shows the movement in the readings but when i go to fly nothing happens... any ideas why

1)  Did you calibrate the axis?
2)  What command did you associate with the slider?
3)  Did you happen to set some custom curves (Advanced) for the axis?

Try the the red/green mode button. I had the same issue with my hotas.

When I hit the mode and didn't know, it altered how I had the throttle rocker/slider set.

As I posted in the other thread, be sure your adjusting the right mode. If you set it up in mode 2 and then go to fly it defaults to mode 1 and you wont have the setting set.
