The counter argument to that is it is equally frustrating when a town is WF'ed at a field and there is already a goon with troops / M3 sitting there waiting in town and the base is taken immediately. Unfortunately that goes both ways.
I do agree with you partially though T2Maw...the game has changed over the years...some for the better...and some definitely for the questionably better. I think we can all say we appreciate the effort that HT & company have put in over the years - but - there should be a better way to obtain user input to changes to the game that make sense, inspire gameplay and get more users. I realize it is HiTech's game as does everyone...but it is the community of players that make the game more than what it is and to lose key members of that community that have been around for years is disheartening.
It is sometimes very frustrating when new "features or fixes" are implemented and we only find out after they have been done and don't make sense...or serve the select few that have complained. I was excited when AH3 came out and played through the beta with high hopes with the graphics upgrade - much better than AH2, but not quite what is by today's standards. Then some of these features have crept in slowly...some I agree with / like...others that downright make me want to walk away due to the frustration it has caused.
Will be sorry to see you go (and others that have recently made the decision). I'm holding onto some hope before I make my decision.
Cheers
