Film Viewer - Fixed View
« on: December 17, 2017, 01:03:28 PM »
One of the best features to see two aircraft fighting on the AHII film viewer was the Fixed view. This set the camera to keep one plane in the centre of the screen and you zoom slider let you adjust your distance nicely. You could also look up down, turn round with the x, y-axis sliders.

It's just not working with the AHIII Film Viewer. You do get a fixed view of somewhere apparently very far from where the flying is going on.

Could there be a buggy variable in the viewer or something overlooked in the transition from AHII?

I too would like to see that fixed, as I occasionally do film review for players and this is one of the most useful views.

Turning on trails, letting a section of film run, pausing the film and then moving the fixed view around to get the best angle for a screenshot with the flight paths shown, all make for a very useful learning and training tool.

+1 on a fix for this

For those of us playing this game for well over a decade, Aces High is more of a social club. The game just provides the framework. I keep logging in for the people and Pipz was the kind that you keep coming to meet again.
