Warthog - Cant map a specific button in game
« on: December 27, 2017, 12:05:17 PM »
Hey all.

The black hat switch below the top most Red button on the Warthog flight stick, i cant map its functions when using it left/right, i can map the up/functions for it.

I have tested left/right in windows and in windows its supposed to be buttons 8 and 10.

Any ideas?

If it is a button, you just activate it with the stick selected in the Map Controllers panel and the game will show you what button you pressed.

We get our button information from Windows DirectInput.  We do not change that.

Well it was a hat switch, and AH did recognise the up/down input, but for some reason it did not recognise the left/right input...

It is not that we do not recognize something.  We are only waiting for input.  If the input does not come we do nothing.  DirectInput takes care of getting the game the inputs from the device.
