Voice Commands with VoiceBot

What is VoiceBot?

VoiceBot is similar to VoiceAttack and allows you to control your computer by talking or speaking commands.

How Much Does It Cost.

There is a 30 Day Free Trial that will allow you to use all of the commands and macro scripts that I have created for the Game
The Pro Version is 15 Bucks, but you can get the unlimited computers license for 25 bucks if you really like it.

What Commands Are There?

There are to many to count, however you will find a printable list of all commands in the profile below in the attached Docs.

How Does It Work?
It works with your microphone and will not interfere with the game,
basically when you say somthing like "Flaps Down" or "Landing Gear" it will send the necessary mapped keys (Default ones for AHIII)
and will sometimes tell you if the keys have been pressed.

How Do I Make it More Accurate?

In the program you can set up your computer for dictation without running the dictation program separately.

How do I import this profile?
In the Manage Profiles Screen simply click on Import Profile.


Why is Auto Hotkey Requried?

AutoHotkey is required for using the Scripts such as the Timers, and other functions that will allow users to use the FREE Version of VoiceBot while still maintaining the functionality
of all of the functions and features.


Will this Break my Computer?

NO

How do I set a key so that when I talk VoiceBot will listen, or Set one so that VoiceBot will Ignore the speech?

It is best to set a key such as CTRL + ALT + S or something similar that will allow you to enable voice.

However if you must use it, you can also set the F12 key so that it ignores Range.  Otherwise if you want you can set the PreCommand for VoiceBot in the options of the program.

How DO I Edit a Script such as Tuning to a radio?


Simply look for the scripts under Radio and double click it and edit the send text


Text To Speech Does Not Work!

If text to speech is not working then your Trial has elapsed and you will want to go with the AHK VoiceBot Profile instead of the Pro Version Profile.

I will be posting these files soon so please let me know if you are interested in testing and using these works that I am making.

The question you didn't ask is "will this kill my frame rate/cause freezes and stutters?"

Question:  Will this cause frame rate issues, and freezes or stutters?

Answer:  I am using a P6T motherboard with an I7 processor made in 2008 and am testing all of this stuff with the game running.

If there are issues with the software and or scripts I can modify them to better perform as I am testing as I go.

These Scripts require AutoHotkey installed on your system

Here are the Plane Selection Scripts, each script is named by plane and plane number.

There are no hotkeys for these scripts so you can run them with voicebot commands > open file

There is Text to Speech included in each of the files that will tell you what plane has been selected as well.

The way you program Voicebot or voice attack is simply to tell it to open a file when you run that command.

these can also be used with joysticks and other software

note if you are using the VoiceBot Profile for AHK which already has some planes in it you must extract the zip to the folder

Here is the Pro Version Recently Updated to include more commands, please see the pdf (printable) for all commands

What is added

Text Buffer when saying "text buffer" "show buffer" it will show the text buffer for 5 seconds
Reply Message - sends "/.r "


What is Fixed
Salvo 6 - fixed to type /.salvo 6 instead of /.salvo 4
Bail Out - No longer presses "o" to open the chute at the end of the bail Note you can say Open Chute or Open Doors to open your chute
Added Following Commands for Views
    - Outside - Presses F3
    - Inside - presses F1
    - External 1 - 5 shows external views in positions 1 - 5


Volume Commands
   -  toggle volume mute - Mutes the volume or unmutes the volume
   -  turn volume down - Turns volume down by 10 ticks
   - turn volume up - turns volume up by 10 ticks

Icon Modes
   - show plane types, icon mode types, switches the plane icons to plane types and then switches back to normal after 5 seconds
   - turn off icons - Turns off the icons
   - view cockpit, cockpit shows the internal cockpit view
   - cockpit external, external cockpit, shows the External view of the cockpit


Auto Hotkey Must be installed for the Timers to function

To Load the profile Extract the zip to your Documents\VoiceBot Profiles\
Open Voicebot and Import the profile and then make sure it is loaded

This profile is not listed as is on the repository so you must load it from here

Instructions

Download as Zip file

extract to C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High III\ahk_scripts

Importing Profile Method 1
Move or Copy the Aces High III .voicebot file (it will be the only one with the .voicebot extension) to your Documents Folder \VoiceBot Profiles

Open Voicebot Click on the Profile DropDown and go to manage profiles

Click the Button that says Import Profile and import the new profile (if it prompts to overwrite the profile  select Yes)

for a changelog of all of the scripts functions etc see the changelog on the commits section
