Vox choppy clips
« on: March 11, 2018, 03:48:40 PM »
I just started having problems with vox, I can hear all sounds in the game fine, all sounds work fine in window, YouTube etc. The problem I am having is when someone keys their mic to talk I just hear little short clips of what they are saying like they talk pushing the mic button on and off. This happens on range or channel. I have all the sound preference set up and voice preference set correct. At a loss what to try next. Want to add I just had to reload the entire game from scratch, seems to be when problem started.

It sounds like network packet loss.  VOX uses the UDP protocol and once any packet has an error, it is simply discarded and mot retried again.

Are you on a wireless connection?

If not, then try running a PingPlot to the servers and see if any packet loss shows up there.
