Stick modes
« on: March 14, 2018, 09:20:32 AM »
How difficult would it be to have more modes for our control sticks? Seeing the X55  isn't supported by Saitek with new drivers we
could program different modes for different plans, gv, etc.

Just wondering.

We already have 4 modes to map the JS,mode 2 is default for GVs but that leaves 3 modes you can map!  You will need to map a button to change modes,so map a button in mode 1 to change to mode 3 then map that same button in mode 3 to change to mode 4 and then map it in mode 4 to change back to mode 1.

Hope that helps and wish granted!

If you do not use auto-switch modes, then you can use mode #2 for anything as well.

I understand but in bombers not all gun positions are the same number ( IE. tail gun). So I use defaults 1 & 2 for fighters/ gv's and then program mode 3 for buffs. I can then program mode 4 for only one specific bomber so when i push hat button to the right side ( which I have set for #5) it would give me the right waist gunner position. But number 5 isn't always the right waist gunners position in lets say Ki67's.

Its OK, just wondering if it was possible.
