The 18th is National Lineman Appreciation Day.

I've sat here and tried to come up with some sort of message praising a lineman, and each and every line had been erased for not being accurate. So I will make it simple as I can.
Tomorrow is National Lineman Appreciation Day, April 18 2018.
If you know a lineman, or see them out and about, take a moment and thank them for the work they do. Without linemen, you wouldnt be on this forum nor likely ever found Aces High. That music you like to listen to would not be playing, nor would there be cold beer in the fridge.
Almost everything we do requires a linemans touch, and it will only get more intense as time goes by.
I'm proud to claim the title of Lineman, I've been in this work for almost 29 years. Its been a good career for me and many others. Theres good pay and benefits, my family is comfortable and I genuinely enjoy my work.

How many of you could or would do this?

My father was a lineman after he returned home from WWII.  Then you actually had to climb poles.  No bucket trucks.  One of many under appreciated vocations.  They all deserve a salute.
