Aces High III Version 3.03 Patch 7 Release Notes

Here are the release notes for Version 3.03 Patch 7 of Aces High III.

1. Added VR hand interactive controls, on almost all planes, and some vehicles, and the Jeep gunner.
   More will be added as more versions are release.

2. Fixed a bug causing convoys to still spawn when the 'visual only' properties was set on a path.

3. Added an 'auto brake' option to apply brakes when throttle is zero.

4. Added 'automatic differential' braking when rudder is applied and brakes are pressed.

5. Added an 'automatic auto pilot' option to turn on either auto level or auto angle when stick and planes attitude is close to level.

6. Auto mode selects now contain four different sets instead of two, as follows:
   Mode 1 (Planes & Default)
   Mode 2 (Vehicles & Gunners)
   Mode 3 (Field & Ship Gunner)
   Mode 4 (Bombardier & Chute)

7. Fixed the "shaking" bug with the 5 inch gunners, on rear of destroyers.

8. When you open 'Map Controls', it now selects your current mode in the 'Mode selection' window.

9. Added map zoom icons on the clip board.

10. In VR mode the commander circle (gun) will no longer follow your view.

11. In VR mode when in the bombardier sight you will see forward, when you look down it will switch to the bomb sight.

12. In VR mode the bomb sight will not lock your head in place and you can turn your head, helps with vertigo.

13. In VR mode tank sight will not lock your head in place and you can turn your head, helps with vertigo.

14. Added VR hand controller pointer for mouse control.

15. Added default mapping for Oculus, Vive, and Acer hand controllers (might work with all Microsoft MR controllers).

16. If using an increase throttle button on a joystick, then a double click of the button will now go to WEP.

17. Changed default gun sight alpha to 50% instead of 25%.

18. Added jump forward jump back for gunner positions.

19. Vehicles with wheel steering no longer accelerate when stopped and the wheel is turned.

20. Change how VR head movement works in land and sea modes, it now follows the gun position.

21. If forward and back are mapped to joystick controls then double-click forward will be full speed forward and start engine.

22. Double tab "Slow / back" will stop the vehicle and if you are stopped will turn off the engine.

24. Fixed a bug causing Aces High III to white screen if it could not connect to our game manager server.

25. Shipped a default mapping for Oculus touch controllers.

26. VR now has a different default set of head positions.

27. Fixed an issue with some VR head sets where they did not have a sensor, they would not show in Aces High III.

28. You can now disable VR head sets with "Tracker Off" I.E. (Ctrl F5) Use full for head sets with out a sensor like Acer.

29. All VR HPS files, in the planes folder, have been renamed to VR_xxxx.hps instead of xxxx_VR.hps

30. Included a different default set of head positions for VR.

31. F1 I.E. SetDefautViewMode now will also enable any tracking device if it was toggled off
