Yet Another Question
« on: October 16, 2001, 07:17:00 AM »
Ok how many pilots from my squad should I have to participate?

If we signed up today when would we start?

Do we choose if we are axis or allies?

I really want my squad to do this and my CO is all for it so it's a go.  But I keep getting asked these questions and my usual response is..err...ahhh...ummm...let me get back to you on that   :D

Thank you in advanced for your responses.

Oh and where do you meet for these?

Pyroman,

A how many pilots do you have total in the squad?

B of those how many can you typically expect to show up for a fri night event?

The more the merrier basicly. The more guys you have the easier it is to fulfill your mission goals. Better odds if you run into enemy fighters, or more damage if your bombing enemy positions.

Each squad gets the chance to state a side preference before the start of the tour.
However, keep in mind that your preferences may not always be possible. Expect to fly both axis & allied. Also expect to fly all aircraft, fighters & bombers.

If you signed up today you'd probably start with the first frame in november. Unless they need you to help balance current numbers.

As to where Fri night in the SEA 11:00 Eastern.

Well we have 14 active members right now.  But I only signed us up for 4-6 to play it safe.  If we get a big turn out then I'll change the amount.

November eh?  Well I'm a patient guy.  But if you need us soon don't hesitate to sign us up.  It will be a nice change from the doldrums of MA.

Thank you in advance and thanks for the answers.

Pyroman, start small with 4-6 for the first tour.  After the rest of your guys see how much fun you had, they will all want to fly next time around and you can increase your numbers.  It may also help to change your squad time to the TOD.

BTW, a few of the 308th bubbas are flying with the 56th FG this TOD.  We've got our own Polish jug aces just like the real 56th did.  :)

Going over the paper work now. Your not the only squad who has signed up.  :)

No promises for this Tour, but I am looking at it.
