Throttle RPM Issue B29
« on: May 03, 2018, 11:30:19 PM »
The Clipboard says that the B29 manifolds and rpm for max cruise are in the image attached.

however with the new settings of the throttle / rpm you cannot set them to the max cruise settings

when you reduce to 2200 RPM it reduces manifold pressure to 30 inches and you cannot adjust manifold.

This is a Bug, same with the B17, its not a supercharger issue, it is related to the VR Throttle Code that was introduced for people moving their throttle instead of the RPM

Try it at sea level. At 35k the manifold pressure will be lower than maximum for most planes simply because the superchargers cannot deliver enough air to keep the pressure up.
