It even still works,  just needs cleaned and a coat of wax.

Set it for free and then load it with beer. Put it in the man cave.

I have one I use for soda, that is the same machine and set for a nickle when the neighbor kids are here. So this one of definitely going in the garage with beer.  That thing got cold  rather quick after plugging it in. Not to mention it looks like it was a machine that was always in doors,  under the dirt the paint was perfect.

The other machine was one my Dad got when he started at Pepsi in 77. They get rid of that style and were sending them all to be crushed.

We had one in our dorm room freshman year and you had to be careful what shape bottle you load in.

Something about the mechanical feel of pulling out the bottle that is rewarding.

Some of the older style push button vending machines that sat outside (the ones with the large square clear plastic buttons) were like slot machines to us kids back in the 80's and early 90's. Every time we would see one we would push all the buttons and then the coin return. Every now and then one would pop out a free soda or return a random amount of change, which would quickly be taken inside and spent all on penny candy
