Well, it was interesting game.

Capitals played very well, the Knights just seemed to answer every time. Had Fluery not spotted the Caps a goal It may have been a different final score and both teams caught a break against penalties.

was a roller coaster of lead take overs. If this first game was a indication of how close these games will be it will be a great finale to watch.

They've never won it.

Washington and Pittsburgh both have that clutch-n-grab centre ice strategy then mixed in with - dump it into the corner or side, muscle it to the centre where they've put a big forward in front of the goalie who hammers it in. Rinse and repeat. I hate their game-play style. Boring.

Vegas Knights is about speed - they need to get their legs back but I suspect their playoff machine has run out of steam.

Very true. And it's the first time for the Caps in their 44 year history.   Vegas winning would of been 'too much' IMHO.  Crazy that they made it to the finals and won their division. Let's see what 2018-2019 brings them. Bet is that they won't make the playoffs.
