Changing squad co?
« on: June 10, 2018, 07:04:54 PM »
I need to put someone else in as the squad co.  I have reached the end of dealing with the "Do not move your controls so rapidly"

Then don't move your controls so rapidly and the "problem" goes away! If it doesn't, then either fix or replace your stick. But if it's you, the "problem" won't go away regardless of the stick. Randy you've been down this road already I don't know how many times and simply refuse to accept help. The game only sees what input comes from your stick. 99.9% of us never see that message and those that do quickly adapt--or we start looking for a screwdriver. It's been explained to you repeatedly. There's nothing wrong with the game.

To answer the question, you can not transfer the the CO to someone else. You must disband the sqaud and reform it to make a new CO.... officially.

As for the "Dont move your...." issues, yes it is all you. Adjust your stick (recalibrate, add dead band/scaling)

To see if its really your stick randy, you could try and use an old one and see if that resolves your issue. Often the parameters go bust inside the stick itself, they start spiking like crazy while you won't see it in the game itself. However inside the software of your stick you can see it.

I hope this helps, i know how frustrating it can be.

You can also set it off with rudder input. I find it helpful to trigger it on purpose to see what the limits are.

RUDDER is almost always the culprit for me. Even at start of Sat's Scenario. Spawn in and control lock. Rudder pedals were out of calibration. Was somehow turned of, which when back on rest the deadband to default. Took 30 seconds to fix. I hear it alot lately, especially after this last couple of patches. I dont want to add dead band, it will kill my turn performance..Dont want to scale, I want full surface deflection...ECT. Nobody likes change, even if old way refuses to work, some folk just dont want help

Whoa,...none of the adjustments you can make in the joystick setup will prevent full deflection from happening.  NONE.  I want to stress that.

It just alters how it gets there.
