Resolution

I noticed some of the newer skins have a resolution of 2048. Is that the new standard or should I keep say a 109 at 1024?

Keep whatever the default skin is at for that model.

All the updated aircraft since AH3 went live are either 2048 square or for large bombers 2048 by 4096. Prior to that aircraft were 1024 square or 2048 square for big bombers.
