Old Planes
« on: June 23, 2018, 11:46:00 AM »
Several other Wish List mention adding older planes.  The Fiat 42 is a biplane, but is newer than the I 16.  274 mph,2 12.7s in nose, 2 12.7's under wing on some and 200 kg bomb load.  Though not that fast, they were highly maneuverable and had a deceit kill ratio in Russia.

+1 to both of those.

The I-153 would be another fun one.

On the same flavor as WW2 biplanes that actually may have had an impact on part of the war:

stringbag! Let's get the swordfish! It would be a terrible hangar queen in this game but IMO it has to be here (eventually) because of its important role for early.. mid.. hell even late war Royal Navy operations.

Along the lines of historically interesting, but really so obsolete as to have no real role in this game and would never get used (possibly not even in scenarios or snapshots) I would include the I-153 and the Fury (any any one of its many nearly-identical clones from different licensed production lines)

The I153 would cause the brewster and KI43 to have to become boom and zoomers which then get's them killed in a large furball.

I've already seen it happen elsewhere.
