Fw 190A-5 of 1./Jg 1 flown by squadron commander, Georg "Murr" Schott in June 1943. "White 11" features Schott's personal emblem of a black cat under the canopy sill and the tactical number had splotches of RLM 02 and 70 underneath, probably covering previous number before becoming Schott's personal mount. Schott had achieved 20 total victories before being shot down in this plane on September 27, 1943 over the English Channel. His body was found in his life raft two weeks later, washed ashore on the island of Sylt.
