Salute to HTC for their Vive Support!
« on: August 31, 2018, 12:04:08 PM »
Just wanted to drop a note and say how impressed I am with the flying experience in AH using a Vive.  I've been downloading different games since I got it and saw that AH supported VR and thought it would be interesting, just for laughs,  to see how it worked with that genre.

I literally had to climb up in the closet and dig through boxes to find a joystick.  That's how out of the flightsim world I've been.

I wasn't really expecting it to be that good, but I was amazed at the sensation of  physically moving through a 3D space.  Totally different experience than just looking at a monitor.  Climbing up through a bank of clouds...wow.

Nicely done. :aok
I might even have to pay for a month to play with it more.

Regards,
Wab

I use the Rift...same feelings WOW. HT has kept the Hat Switch and head positions the same, with VR. The ONLY one I know of! Sure, a PURIST would scoff at this...but why should VR users be handicapped as far as views and such? Folk have TIR and hat switches available so why not with VR! HT...ahead of the rest in this IMO :rock
