I may have designed it such that the required files would also have to be submitted, if any are missing from a submission, but if they are all there, it should allow any of the optional files to be submitted.

The intent was to allow skinners to submit only optional files, if all the required files are in place.


Apparently, I need to update the update submission page with more instructions/information.

I may be confused.

When you update the skin description the change is instantaneous.  However, when you update any of the files the skin drops into updated status requiring a release by you. 

What I was hoping was that submitting a photo of thumbnail would be similar to the text update.   

It probably works the way you intend.  I was thinking perhaps you had modified it.

No, it does go to "Updated" status to let me know an update has been submitted.  I clear it pretty quickly though as the skin does not have to go through a release cycle.

The status always has to change so I know there is an update.

One of the future updates, to the system, will create another type of status, but that takes some time to get done.

Perfect.   This is a definite improve,ent over what I thought it was. 

When I had photo updates in the past I was saving them until I had a skin file update because I thought it ate up a lot of your time.
