Do icons still vanish when below 65' ?

I think it used to be, below 200' no radar signature. Below 65' no icon.

Doesn't the icon depend on the point of view? An icon isn't shown below the surface, so at some altitudes planes have no icon when viewed from above, but show an icon when viewed from below. I think, not sure though.

They mean icons on dar. I don't think you would have to raise it to 200 feet, just raise it enough that there is some airspace between the tops of the trees and the floor of the dar.

I do believe both are at 65 feet.

Yep.  Just checked the Melee.  SectorCounterAlt is 250 feet.  As far as I know it's been that way since the dar was lowered to 65 feet.

Thanks for checking Wiley. We are asking for a tower radar height of 200 feet. Anyone know what height sector was at before tower radar was lowered to 65 feet?

Thanks Lusche!

So to clarify, we're asking for tower radar height to be increased to 200ft, and sector back to 500ft. :salute

Only if you make the big maps go away, otherwise it does not promote combat, specially on Euro TZ, it will promote base-taking with no penalty, and no one  will be able to takeoff to defend the base with a 500/200 ft radar settings.
Maybe that's want the  OP  to accomplish ?

Have you compared the number of Jabos needed to WF town with the number of players online during low pop times?

The OP is requesting it due to prime time the arena is setup to be dominated by fighters and initiatives fail by feeding themselves to the sharks. During peak time with very small numbers, three guys is a base taking hoard and pretty easy to locate. Getting them to mano E mano in a fighter, that is not what they are paying their subscription to do in the MA.

Everyone complaining about the lack of fighter fights seems to not understand those customers are making a choice for their $14.95 to "capture flags". If Hitech changes the game functionality and they can only play by upping a fighter to make the fighter players happy, they will quit and leave you alone in the MA. Another thing most don't factor is out of every group, only a subset are interested in the kinds of risk taking activity we call fighter combat. The majority are average and want to do less risky things as a group activity. Obviously Hitech understands that or he would not have evolved the MA as a capture the flag environment.

Years ago when we had hundreds in the MA, there was an illusion the game was full of high risk types at all hours. With 400 players and the average for high risk being about 20%, it was easy to run into those 80 individuals as they were also looking for you. Today with 120 being a good prime time, that's about 20 hardcore players across three countries. And even our average vets are terrifying to newbies along with not being instant kills for our sharks.

Think about how that works out with under 20 players late night.

Ask yourself, is it a better progression to attract numbers of average people to the game or hope for the miracle of the same numbers of high risk individuals being attracted instead. Right now the game favors the high risk and we don't seem to be getting a surge of Von Richthofen's, Günther Rall's or Richard Bong's. Capture the flag is the meat and potato's of the MA for the average and risk adverse.

Responding to me, referring to low pop times? My reply was on saves worries about whatever consequences dar changes may have at EU times. None. Can't get half of the country in an NOE raid. Hence a discussion about consequences under those circumstances is pretty much irrelevant, no matter what they may or may not be.

I'm not a bomber guy , but 2 sets of NOE B26s should probably shut down a small field by their own, or I'm wrong ?

It appears even the drones won't go as low as 65 feet.
