shida has been training him much more often!

I really can't take any credit. Jo is very knowledgeable and values learning over short-term success. Only really one dedicated training session about introductory merging strategies. He's doing the work. Future top stick imho. Watch out ubernoobs!

What AH needs to stay healthy is a lot more JoBravos.

BTW I don't think age necessarily needs be a limit to learning, it's mostly habits, preferences and rigidity which older people tend to / choose to have more of. Stay fluid in mind and body  :rock

:furious EASY for you to say! Every time I step on the rudder or shoulder Left to turn...I hear popping sounds, like I am getting shot at :rofl Makes me jerk the plane around Thus burning all my E  Ok what were we talking about again :old:    KIDDING, ofcoarse.  My first VISIT with JoBravo in MPA, was an eye opener. I am fairly successful in the MA and hold my own in DCS, but 1 visit with JO and I ABSOLUTELY saw all my flaws. I am fairly sound in THEORY..its just all the Muscle Memory of how NOT to do stuff gets in the way of turning Theory into Proof. The best thing to come out of this experience...the drive to FIX IT. I have been watching film and rewatching film, just to see where I first messed up. Mistake 1, and pretty sure Jo saw this as well(he was a bit apprehensive to point it out, directly, guessing because he is newer?so he did it through hints ) I am way too aggressive in trying to END IT FAST...get guns on first-dam the torpedoes style. Every time I failed to land DAMAGING HITS, thus putting me behind in the E category. Second: when plan 1 failed..I threw the E book out the window and went TOO defensive. I practice flying at or near Stall Speed all the time, and have found most players DO NOT. Then when I come across players like JOBRAVO who actually LEARN and see what I am trying... :bhead I USE TOO get him to stall and overshoot(I did it our first match, this last time HE HE). Damn he picks things up FAST. It was EYE OPENING and I am usually not the type of person who thinks MEDIOCRITY is good enough :uhoh I found I had settled for Good Enough. SO...this being said!!!!! IF we end up together in MPA AGAIN....dont worry about critiquing my flying...I DONT GET ANGRY at corrective criticism. If you see something that I am missing..BY ALL MEANS point it out! I know folk dont really like to critique others, so I will ask you AT LEAST film our fights, so that you can send them to me? I have no problem figuring things out!  I am Disabled due to Multiple Sclerosis and Aces High and you guys I meet in here, are just about the only DAILY interaction I have..well Non Family. This is my CRUTCH and incentive to get off my butt and do something. Learning something new...is JUST EXTRA CREDIT :rock

Super glad it turned out the way it did ! And also happy I helped you in anyway  :D I don't normally film my flights at all because I forget lol, But next time were in matchplay do remind me to film and I will send them to you no problem  :aok .

It's nice to see the "life of gameplay" getting back into players and this is proof of what a great sensei nrshida once said "You are just as good as your competition"  ;)  .

I have yet a lot to learn even from you as much as you do from me. We all have things to learn from eachother and it would happen much easier if everyone left their ego in the house safe.

Cheers <S>
