Twice now, I've seen a bailed pilot standing on the ground with a chute over it. They were indestructible. I drove up to one of them in an M8 and hit it with a dozen rounds of HE, a few AP, and emptied the .50 cal magazine into it -- with no effect. Both showed as a stationary aircraft icon.
