In the 80's I toured his Florida ranch.  Fun fact: After Smokey & the Bandit, Trans Am sales went up 400%.  Pontiac's CEO promised Burt a new Trans Am every year, for life.  He got 3.  Then Pontiac's CEO left the company.  And with him went the promise.   :O
He had a bungalow on the property called "The Treehouse" where he would shag Dinah Shore, Sally Field & Loni Anderson  :old:
